Welcome to Amen Aviation
Sharing the good news of Jesus through Faith and Flying
About Amen Aviation
Psalm 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.”
Amen Aviation is aimed at bringing faith and flying together. The goal is to bring hope through the gospel of Christ and to show that with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)
What does it look like to a live life on mission for Christ? For some it may be serving overseas sharing the gospel with the unreached. For others it may be humbly walking in their sphere of influence: whether that is leading their family, shining the light of Christ at work, or by being a good friend, and for others it may look entirely different…
I was told by my grandpa and his brother that I do not need to have a seminary degree to be a missionary and to preach the gospel. But I was encouraged from a young age that sharing the gospel can be done by doing everything for the glory of God. Whether this was choosing to go to seminary, being an engineer, being a pilot, or by simply being a friend to someone.
I was able to see this story lived out in their lives. The fruit of their labor was shown in those they shared the gospel with and discipled. Their legacy was giving all of the glory to Christ. I wanted this to be true for my life.
What would my legacy be, what would I be known for?
Amen Aviation was an idea that was formed over years of pursuing Jesus and following my passion for aviation. I had a desire to bring these two things together. I wanted to be able to share what brings me joy with others. Thus began the genesis for Amen Aviation.
So why Amen?
As Christians, we commonly say “amen” at the end of prayers, giving a sense of emphasis and confirmation. Biblically speaking, amen translates to Verily / Certainly / Truly / Firm / Faithful.
Amen Aviation is aimed at bringing faith and flying together. I desire to be faithful to Christ and to stand firm in my faith in everything I do, including flying. I desire to truly do all things for the glory of God. I desire to show others that all of the promises of God are “yes and amen” in Christ.
For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. But thanks be to God that He loved the world in this way; that He sent His only son, Jesus, to take the penalty of our sins for us. For that all who believe in Christ will have everlasting life.
