Color Codes:

  • VFR = GREEN

  • MVFR = BLUE

  • IFR = RED

  • LIFR = MAGENTA

Animations:

  • Wind > 15 KTS = Pulse

  • Wind > 30 KTS = YELLOW Flash

  • Icing Conditions = LIGHT BLUE Flash

  • Lightning = WHITE Flash

  • Sunrise / Sunset = Brightens & Dims along with local airport sunrise / sunset times

  • ON / OFF = METAR turns ON and OFF at user designated times (i.e., ON at 05:30 AM, OFF at 22:30 PM)

  • Very user friendly: Connect to “Amen Aviation - Setup” Wi-Fi, enter the desired Wi-Fi details, enjoy your METAR!

  • Note: METAR is only capable of connecting to WPA2 Personal, WPA2 Enterprise, and Hidden SSID Wi-Fi networks. METAR is not designed to connect to networks with captive portals.
